Vin Diesel To Star In & Produce Movie Based on Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots Game

Vin Diesel is set to star in a live action movie based on the Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots tabletop game.

Variety reports that Vin‘s production company, One Race Films, will also produce the movie alongside Universal Pictures and Mattel.

The Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots tabletop game featured the battling robots, Red Rocker and Blue Bomber.

“To take the classic Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em game, with Mattel as my partner, and align it with the kind of world-building, franchise-making success we have had with Universal, is truly exciting,” Vin shared in a statement.

While many fans are excited about the news of a new Vin movie, they also pointed out that it’s very similar to 2011′s Real Steel, which starred Hugh Jackman.

“We already got this movie. It’s called Real Steel, and it’s pretty good to,” one fan wrote.

Another added, “Am I going crazy or didnt this movie already happen?? It was called Real Steel? Wolverine was in it? Did I hallucinate an entire movie?”

Mattel is also developing movies based on Uno and their number one seller, Barbie.
