Vlogger Jeff Wittek is getting candid about a dangerous stunt he attempted for a vlog that left him with serious injuries.
The vlogger recounted the scary incident in the second episode of a tell-all documentary series about filming a comeback video with David Dobrik after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Members of the vlog squad met up with David in Utah to start shooting the video and one of the first stunts involved placing an excavator in a shallow lake and using it to pull people on wakeboards.

The group then decided to abandon the wakeboard altogether and swing from the rope attached to the excavator. YouTuber Corinna Kopf went first, but quickly asked to be put down and told David he “takes things too far.”
Jeff then decided to try and swing from the rope.
“I just jumped out of a plane 20 times. What’s the worst that could happen if I swing from a rope over a one-foot-deep lake?” Jeff recalled. “And yeah, I didn’t know I was going to go that fast so I grabbed the f–king rope and I tried to make a goddamn funny video for people but this is where I made a mistake. I forgot the biggest f–king idiot I know was driving it.”
The footage shows Jeff swinging from the rope and the moment he hits the water, as his friends rush to help him.
“The whole side of his face was just open,” fellow vlogger Todd Smith said. David‘s assistant Natalie Mariduena added, “And nobody could do anything to stop it.”
Jeff‘s video follows a series of controversies for the Vlog Squad, including accusations of sexual misconduct within the group. David responded to the allegations in a video last month.
